Recognizing diversification adds value; Community Futures will endeavour to attract volunteers that are part of, work with or demonstrate an understanding of various stakeholder groups. Volunteers need to be fluent in English, possess an interest in and knowledge of issues that affect the region and an understanding of the region's economy and have property or live (residential or business) within the Alberni-Clayoquot region. Experience as a business owner/depth of understanding of small business would be an asset.
